جواد شمقدری، رییس سازمان سینمایی ایران اعلام کرد که این سازمان مامور شده راه حلی برای انجام مسئولیت هایی که خانه سینمای ایران بر عهده داشته، پیدا کند.

آقای شمقدری به خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران، ایسنا گفت که در جلسه اخیر شواری عالی سینما که هفته گذشته با حضور محمود احمدی نژاد، رییس جمهور ایران برگزار شد "طرح و الگویی را برای زمین‌ نماندن مأموریت‌های غیرصنفی و البته غیرسیاسی خانه‌ سینما پیدا کند".

فرهاد توحیدی رئیس هیئت مدیره خانه سینما روز چهارشنبه دهم خرداد اعلام کرد که فعالیت های این بزرگترین نهاد صنفی سینمایی ایران تا رسیدن به "نتیجه نهایی از طریق روال قانونی" معلق می شود.

در پی نقض حکم انحلال خانه سینما از سوی دیوان عدالت اداری خانه سینما بعد از حدود پنج ماه تعطیلی روز هشتم خرداد با تشکیل جلسه هیئت مدیره فعالیت های خود را از سر گرفت. این در حالی است که وزارت ارشاد همچنان بر تعطیلی این نهاد صنفی تاکید داشته و دارد و می گوید: "خانه سینما وجاهت قانونی ندارد." این وزارتخانه در دی ماه سال گذشته خورشیدی طی حکمی به خانه سینما ۴۸ ساعت فرصت داد که فعالیت های خود را متوقف کند و این نهاد صنفی را منحل اعلام کرد.

دیوان عدالت اداری در پی نقض حکم انحلال خانه سینما توسط وزارت ارشاد، گفته بود که تصمیم گیری نهایی بر عهده هیات رسیدگی به امور مراکز فرهنگی وزارت ارشاد است و اگر این هیئت حکم به انحلال بدهد، خانه سینما باید منحل شود. هیات رسیدگی به امور مراکز فرهنگی هم حدود پنج روز پیش حکم انحلال این نهاد صنفی را ابلاغ کرد.

رییس سازمان سینمایی ایران در گفتگو با ایسنا تاکید کرد که وزارت ارشاد در این مورد کاملا قانونی عمل کرده و "اتفاق‌ها و فرآیندهایی که در طول مسیر گذشته حادث شده، همه در جهت حل و فصل مشکل قانونی آن دسته از فعالیت‌های فرهنگی خانه‌ سینما بوده، اگرچه ممکن است این راه، تلخی‌هایی را هم به همراه داشته باشد".

معاون سینمایی وزارت ارشاد در مراسم اختتامیه سی امین جشنواره فیلم فجر حذف این معاونت را اعلام کرد و از آغاز به کار رسمی سازمان سینمایی خبر داد. نقش رییس سازمان سینمایی از ابعادی شبیه به معاونت سینمایی وزیر ارشاد است و این سمت را نیز جواد شمقدری بر عهده دارد.
